Another method of termite control consists of injecting a foam formulation into parquet floor beneath wood surface. The inner spaces of the wood are flooded with foams to ensure that the foam formulation reaches all open passages beneath the wooden surface and establish a layer of chemicals and protect the wood from termite damage.
The foam penetrates beneath the wooden surface which exposed to the injection and impregnates it with active ingredients that remain embedded in the wood long after the foam disappears, thereby retaining the insecticidal, repellant and preservative properties of the active agents for a long time without exposure to normal degrading forces and therefore protect the wood from termite damage.
